Fuels Safety Industry Workshops

TSSA is offering full-day workshops across the province through May and June on new Propane Installation Codes and Fuel Code 2016. 

Fuel Oil Workshop

This one-day industry workshop is on the TSSA Fuel Oil Code – 2016, which adopts CSA-B139 Series 15.

  • LONDON: Thursday, May 25, 2017
  • TORONTO: Thursday, June 8, 2017
  • OTTAWA: Thursday, June 15, 2017

COST:  $250.00 (plus HST) = $282.50

In this workshop, you will learn about the Fuel Oil Regulations and Fuel Oil Code 2016 requirements. The training will cover the components of the code including:

  • indoor and outdoor aboveground tanks;
  • diesel engines – including generators and fire pumps;
  • exhaust/vent systems;
  • piping installations;
  • leak detection; and
  • portable diesel generators and other mobile oil-burning equipment.

Who should attend

Contractors, Engineers, Consultants, and Installers involved with designing and installing fuel oil or diesel tank systems, including commercial and industrial appliances/engines. You should also attend if you work on, operate, or maintain facilities that use diesel or fuel oil equipment.
