Safety Matters – International CO Risk Assessment & Management Conference
TSSA’s Public Safety Risk Management (PSRM) team recently met with government and regulatory partners as well as public health agencies and non-profits from Europe, USA and Canada for an engaging symposium on the public health risks of carbon monoxide (CO).
In this edition of TSSA Safety Matters, TSSA’s Robert Wiersma, Interim Director and Chief Advisor for Public Safety Risk Management and Srikanth Mangalam, former TSSA PSRM Director, now Founder/President of PRISM Institute, talk about bringing this broad-based group together, the growing trend in risk analysis, and what it means for CO safety as a public health issue. We also gain feedback from international attendees for a look at their approach, what was gleaned from the workshop, and their evolving interest in safety analysis and risk mitigation.
